Weekend Warrior Workshop Series

 Foundations of Flow: Power Vinyasa Master Class (open to everyone)
Saturday  9/30 11am-12:30pm

Description: An invigorating all levels class in which we will break down the basic elements of the Vinyasa practice. Refining alignment and gaining a deeper understanding of the power of Vinyasa yoga. Intended for seasoned yogis looking to strengthen their foundation as well as those that are new to the Vinyasa practice. 

The art and science of Vinyasa: Taking your teaching to the next level.

Description: Teaching yoga is a practice in and of itself, and it can be a powerful vehicle for change both in our selves and our students. In this workshop you will learn about different sequencing techniques for vinyasa yoga that will allow you to develop creative and intelligent sequences. We will also cover important tools for communication and effective class leadership that will allow you to teach with a deeper intention and connection with your students. Intended for current yoga instructors with at least an RYT-200 or similar. 

Summer Cool Down Yin Workshop (open to everyone)
Sunday  10/1 11am-1pm

Description: Tap into a deeper sense of chill with Yin yoga. Yin works to increase range of motion in our connective tissues and allows us to release deeply held tensions while allowing us to go inside and reflect on the things we want to cultivate in our lives. You will gain a deeper understanding of the yin practice and leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.  
 

Bio: Mary Kelley OMS III, E-RYT
Mary brings 23 years of yoga practice and 8 years of teaching experience alongside her osteopathic medical training and background in psychology to provide thoughtfully crafted yoga experiences. Prior to moving to Yakima for medical school Mary taught at various studios in Bend and Portland, Oregon and owned a yoga studio in Hood River. She is greatly influenced by her trainings with Baron Baptiste at the Baptiste Institute as well as various other yoga masters whom she’s trained with over the years. She believes in teaching from the head and the heart and strives to provide her communities with the highest quality of yoga instruction possible.
